Fastest way to lose weight, part 5

In previous posting in the fastest way to lose weight series we have looked upon loosing finding our current situation; imagining an inspirational future where we are healthy; setting goals for eating more healthy and exercising.

All these things are good; and will help you lose some weight rapidly; but you should also have some days to offer yourself a treat. It could be either one or two days a week; these days will still contain eating healthy fruits and vegetables, but you can also do something more. I prefer those days to be Friday and Saturday. Actually I prefer not exercising Saturdays either. Only spending the Saturdays relaxing and letting my body rest. And when I say we can treat our selves some extra specials it doesn’t imply that you could eat a lots of chocolate and potato chips; only some. And if you choose to have a special dinner it should be home made. Of course you might get something from a restaurant; but you should steer away from fat burgers etc. Instead making something homemade like tacos, pizza, and homemade burgers (maybe even vegetables inside the burger; onions and other vegetables inside the meat give much better tastes).

The point I am trying to make is that you should offer yourself some of the old habits you had; just in a limited amount on few days a week. And using homemade food instead of prefabricated is also much healthier than all the additional chemicals they add to the food. You should also create a habit of drinking water instead of cola etc. I am aware there are light versions of what you drink; but they also contain chemicals that give sweet taste; and are unhealthier than sugar. So please; do not make excuses like; I only eat and drink light versions; they contain less sugar. But those sugars are replaced by other sweating methods that might be a lot more dangerous than pure sugar; the best option for a healthy body is to drink water when thirsty; or fruit juice and milk of course which provides minerals and vitamins for the body. You might of course have some cola or other drinks on those special days you relax and enjoy life; but in limited amount.
What you should have in mind when deciding to lose weight is to create a plan that actually works; something you really want. Do not create something unrealistic not giving you joy and fun in the progress. You should find joy in improving and educating yourself as a human being.
