As we talked in our last posting; the fastest way to lose weight is through a change of life style. We need an understanding of the current situation and an understanding of how we want our future situation. I generally think it’s a bad idea to starve yourself or to be on a diet; to eat less only create problems again when you start eating normally. The body doesn’t know how to burn the fat or calories efficient anymore; since it hasn’t had any real fuel in a long time. Sure you might get thinner; but it will only be temporarily. The same apply for diets; you suddenly eat food you normally don’t eat and sure enough; burning your ordinary food later on will not be efficient.
As you see; diets and starving yourself is both unhealthy; and don’t really help more than temporarily; we need fast and lasting methods for weight loss. Hence we need to change our life styles. And this part is the most important one; we have to create a life style we want. There no use creating a plan lasting where you despise the food you eat; or body and mind hate the exercise you do. You should make changes to a life giving you inspiration and hope. While you eat the food should taste well; while you exercise it should feel good. There is no point creating a plan where you have a goal losing some kilos/pounds in some weeks; and after that stop implementing the changes to your life. And neither is there any use to stop eating chocolate or other sweets for ever; you will always have some desire for it; but need to have self control. You need to have a plan or schedule on when to do activities; you have to have a plan for exceptions. I don’t think anyone could really lose all their habits; and there might be a need to keep some of them. But only giving yourself in a limited amount; and not uncontrolled as it probably is now.
While having the plan you need to control your life; your health. And you have to enjoy your life. You can’t make a lasting plan where you suffer and hunger for all your habits all the time. All you need is to implement more healthy food; and more efficient exercises. Enjoy every part of it; giving you lasting joy and hope.
